Natural Remedy For Acid Reflux

importance healthy living

Let me ask you a couple of questions… how many sleepless or restless nights have you suffered because of heartburn? Additionally, do you find it difficult sometimes to eat meals throughout the day? Like me and many others, do you also long for a natural remedy for acid reflux?

More than likely if you’re ready this blog then you’ve answered yes to all my questions. For me, it can be quite embarrassing sometimes having lunch with co-workers when suddenly I have to stop eating and allow the burning sensation or pain subside before I can continue.

Even worst having to rush off the nearest restroom to regurgitate because of the sensation of acid backing up into my throat – not to mention the unmanageable wet burp!!

Foods to Avoid

Since I’ve been diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), I honestly cannot tell you what specific foods trigger my discomfort; however, I have been told to limit or avoid the following to lessen my symptoms:

  • Citrus Fruits
  • Chocolate
  • Caffeinated Drinks or Alcohol
  • Spicy, Fatty, or Fried Foods
  • Garlic and Onions
  • Peppermint
  • Tomatoes

Though I have never experienced any serious complications as a result of heartburn, the discomfort alone sometimes feels like a hole is burning through my chest. Very few times have the pain become so severe while sleeping at night that I had to sit up straight for hours at a time.

According to  more than half of all pregnant women experience heartburn during pregnancy. Increased hormones and pressure from a growing fetus can combine to produce this acid reflux symptom. In most cases, heartburn goes away after delivery.

Unfortunately for those of us who are not pregnant, and have to live with the discomfort for more than 9 months – making a few lifestyle changes and using over-the-counter antacids usually control acid reflux symptoms.

After years of managing my heartburn with prescription medications and over-the-counter antacids a friend of mine who also suffered from the disease introduced me to a book by nutritionist Jeff Martin.

Since I started the program a couple of months ago I endure no more sleepless nights or embarrassing moments with friends and/or co-workers.

Jeff’s program is incredible, and for the price, I highly encourage my readers who continue to suffer from GERD to follow his system. Education is key, and Jeff provides a comprehensive system to eliminate heartburn for good.

So if you’re fed up with only temporary relief and long for an indefinite solution that can relieve you of acid reflux within 48 hours then “Discover How Jeff Martin,” a nutritionist and former heartburn sufferer from California permanently cured his severe acid reflux.
